Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Registered Nurse position at your organization. I am a New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse with an Associate Degree in Science from Union College of New Jersey/Trinitas School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Stockton University. I am excited about the opportunity to begin my nursing career and contribute my education, clinical knowledge, and commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
During my nursing education, I developed skills in patient assessment, medication administration, infection prevention, communication, and providing safe, patient-centered care. My experience as a Student Intern with the Kearny Department of Public Health also allowed me to work with diverse populations and assist with community health initiatives, including immunization clinics and community health needs assessments. These experiences strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of treating every patient with respect and understanding.
In addition, my previous experience as an Information Desk Receptionist at RWJBH Trinitas Regional Medical Center provided me with valuable experience interacting with patients, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals. I learned how important professionalism, empathy, and effective communication are when working in a healthcare environment.
I am a motivated and dependable nurse who is eager to continue learning and growing professionally. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my skills, positive attitude, and dedication to your nursing team. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my background and qualifications would make me a valuable addition to your organization.
Sincerely,
Murielle Mae Fernandez
